Caught this on HBO last night. Anybody else see it? I'm pretty sure it was just a vehicle in which Liam Neeson could showcase himself being a badass, but it was a damn entertaining 90 minutes.

I thought it blew in a big way. I had hoped I would enjoy a nice, no touchy-feely BS revenge film, but it was really, really awful. Some of the backstories and character relationships were so unbelievably suckass it was laughable. The ****** scene with the karaoke machine and the horse was lol-worthy.

Enjoyed it. Torture scene was probably my favorite.

Watched this last night, too.

Thought it was pretty good. The scene where he took down the entire whore house was cool.

I watched it back in the summer time. I enjoyed it.

The daughter (who was also on Lost) is cute.

I found it fairly meh. The ending is what ruined it for me. His goal was to get his daughter back, and if he was half the professional he was made out to be, he would have cut the deal with Saint-Clair and not killed him until his daughter was safe (if he killed him at all). That made absolutely no sense to me as there was nothing in the movie to imply that Saint Clair was anything other than a businessman and wouldn't have honored the deal. There was also nothing to imply that the sheikh wanted his daughter specifically either and couldn't have been bought off.

Heck, Neeson could have used the step-father's money to buy her from the sheikh or saint clair. Instead, he further endangered her due to the high speed chase and oodles of automatic weapons fire on a presumably thin walled boat.

I'll take Death Wish over Taken anytime

Very fun. Especially funny: In an interview in the latest Vanity Fair, the president of Blackwater said he showed it to his daughters as a training video.
