All the other threads are pretty much dead, and of not much use, so I figured I'd start a new one for all those with experience in the Bespoke/Tailoring Industry in Singapore to share their views.

Anyone heard anything about Personality Men's (Eric), and how do they compare to Iris (highly recommended here)?

What can you tell us about personality mens? I've never heard of them. I have used iris and have been happy with the results.

Try 'The Kerbau' Forum; it's like the Malaysian-Singaporean chapter of SF.

You might get more responses there. :)

However they remain a good guide to Singapore tailors which have not yet been surpassed.

On the contrary I have heard only bad things about Kevin Seah. Anyway my friend went to Kevin Seah and he, shockingly, doesn't seem to be as good as he seems to be.

From my friend in SGP and got couple items from him, I can firmly say his cut is strange, the stuff he cuts is often too short, far too less drape on the chest and tight skirt which makes a jacket looks quasi-boxy when it is cut like a second skin

My friend was once in another tailor shop and saw kelvin walking into the same shop asking the tailor there how to "repair" and salvage a suit he has tailored for a client. This tells you a lot about his knowledge and skills. Basically I find him a good businessman, but definitely not a good tailor.

From what I've seen from him, his stuff are more fashion forward and not really catered to the conservative/classic stuff. It's a modern interpretation to bespoke and certainly one catered to the youth with their fashion influences.

A.k.a strange cut, but obviously cut and fit is in the eye of beholder
