He is in Florence. 2,500 euros and very good in responding to emails, and answering questions over the phone.

That's close to right. Hutsman is 3,500, I think. Kilgour 2,850 last I checked. I don't know about Gieves. A&S and Poole are both about 2,200. All those prices are ex-VAT. SR typcially quotes ex-VAT because so many clients are American.

Also, and I don't know why this is so, but if an American buys a suit for delivery, he will pay the ex-VAT price minus the entire 17.5% Then you have to deal with duties (or not, depending). But if you pick up the suit and claim VAT through the mail, you only get 2/3s or so of the full VAT back.

Iammatt, how many bespoke suits or jackets have you acquired so far? Mafoofan? Eustace Tilley, how did you figure out that no one spoke English at the outfits you mentioned (Mazzuocolo and Panico)? Did you visit, just call, or speak to their clients?

A handful are on order. Only one jacket is actually complete and in my hands. Is this part of your mission to find out 'what it costs'?

Had a friend who speaks Italian call and ask on my behalf.

Panzer, Liverano is in Florence. I believe he is expensive, but not sure how expensive. I think he is thought to be pretty good, though.

Just to add another datapoint, a bespoke Steed two-piece is £1800, three-piece is £2200, excluding VAT.
