Tailoring times for common alterations

They usually say, one week.

But if you pay lots of $$$ or beg or plead and/or have a good relationship already, perhaps you can get it sooner.

If someone can do anything at all right away, I am suspicious. Underemployed tailors are often underemployed for a reason.

I've found a week to be about average. I've also found that if you go to a tailor frequently, the turnaround time gets faster, especially with more expensive orders.

I usually request clients to give me about a week to turnaround clothes, if it's a simple hem of course we can do that earlier, but if it's a shoulder issue, I might ask them to give us 10 days.
