Tailoring shirts...stiching

Hi all,

Couple shirts I wanted slimmed...I was wondering when a tailor alters a shirt, does he make the stiching look like the originals?

Seems like all stiching on shirts are pretty fancy and done by some machine, so not sure if tailors usually can match that.

What are your experiences with this?
