tailoring question - widening suit sleeve cuffs?

Is this possible. The french cuffs of my shirts do not fit very well through one of my suit sleeve cuffs. They get caught at the end. Even when pushed through, it bunches the end of the suit sleeve because it is so tight. Easy/possible to fix?

I would be interested to know as well. As for now I am resigned to asking for slightly larger jacket sleeves on my next MTM order and smaller shirt cuffs with no increase in size for a watch. It's annoying to have FC shirts that get caught outside of jacket sleeves...

Sure, if there is enough fabric to let out. It would cost alot, as you have to do the same to the lining of the sleeve.
I would recomend just being more careful.

What do you mean by being more careful? It's not that its too tight when I putting the jacket on, but near the wrist when I am already wearing. thanks!

when you order your next m2m suit wear your french cuff shirt. let your tailor measure the cuff.
for this one there may a little cloth inside. have your tailor check it.

I had that problem as well, however given that it only happened with one shirt it was clear where the problem came from. You should check if you have a shirt with abnormally big cuffs (CT comes to mind) or that indeed it is the suit that needs altering. I haven´t done anything about it yet, but reckon it must be much easier to fix the cuffs on a shirt than the sleeves on a suit.

shorter french cuffs.

My Ted baker cuffs usually cause this kind of situation, but my RLPL, and RL polo never do.
