Tailored Peacoat

Looking ahead to the upcoming late fall/winter season I will be in need of a new and more tailored Peacoat. Does anyone have any suggestion of what brands make a more fitted style of Peacoat? Traditionally most that I have encountered are the straight fit and a bit box-ish.

I bought the J Crew one and got a tailor to take in the sides.

Isaia did a very fitted one a few years back with high arm holes, horn buttons, and contrast stitching. It was part cashmere. I don't know if they have one in their current fall/winter line-up, but the one they did 3 or 4 years ago was very well done.

Has anyone actually had a tailor make them a peacoat? This would be one way to approach this

Going MTM/bespoke for a peacoat seems wasteful when they're so inexpensive. I'd be inclined to get one of the typical Schott or Sterlingwear (or vintage/surplus) peacoats and have a tailor go to town on it. $150-200 for the base coat, and then another $100 or so to have a good tailor hack a bunch of material out of the sleeves and sides.

I recall the Sterlingwear authentic being 20% nylon; you'd probably want to stick with pure wool. Also NB there's a giant Peacoat thread on the Streetwear and Denim subforum.
