sooooo its almost spring and i want to start rocking white jeans. don't worry, i won't look like a painter. noobs.

my dilhemma is..i'd like to get them as cheaply as possible, but with a good fit. my big idea right now is to get some levis 501s (the new cut) white jeans from langstons.

however, if i wanted to get the jeans tapered in the leg to make them...slim, would that be a problem? assuming i go to a competent tailor.

Why would it be a problem? Other than it's a hell of a lot of trouble for a damned pair of white jeans.

Man this spring a LOT of stores are going to be having white jeans. Levis, gap, BR, Jcrew, Club Monaco just to name the ones off the top of my head. You can probably find a good fit from those options without having to go the tailored route.
