Tailor tipping?

I've honestly never been to a tailor before. Well, I went to get my Dukes and my Nudies shortened and tapered, and I'm going back this Saturday to get them.

Question though: Are you supposed to tip? My parents have always told me the guideline is "Always tip if it's a service". Haircuts, restaurants, etc.

I do tip mine if I ask for a rush next day service. And i buy him an Xmas gift

But I've been using the same guy for over 10 years, no need to tip in OPs case
