Going to Naples to find a good tailor to match my style - but need to do a lot of research before going there in person

My dream suit is Neapolitan style with soft shoulders - but not with very wide sleeves. Most of the Neapolitan suits I have tried on have sleeves too wide for my liking. They look like they are made for very muscular guys with huge biceps...

Cesare Attolini's style looks close to what I like - the sleeves are pretty narrow.

Are there other tailors in Naples you could recommend who can produce such a thing?

Thank you for your valued advice!!

Thank you, marcodalondra

Having done further research I have to say I am surprised at the extreme price points charged by Neapolitan tailors.

At one extreme there are Rubinaccis and Attolinis bespoke (and these charge 4500 euro+) and then there are many smaller sartorias eager to please with their "bespoke" for 1,500-2000 euro. But virtually NOTHING in between! (at least based on my preliminary internet search).

Has anyone on this forum been able to find any good quality bespoke tailor at mid price points (starting from 3,000 euro)?

Reason I am asking I am not really happy with smaller sartorias' styles. If in doubt check out Ettore de Cesare website and you will see what I am talking about. These suits look like 1950s - low gorge, awkward lapels - hardly something you would want be seen wearing in NYC... Or is this that famed Neapolitan style that I am too young to appreciate? In my opinion MTM is way better than any such "bespoke"

Clearly there a good reason why Rubinacci is so expensive - it is because there seems to be no-one in his city who come even close... will start saving then.

I think you will be very happy if you try Mina at http://www.napolisumisura.com/

She comes to NYC and SF as well. She was just in SF this weekend and met with a few members of Styleforum for jackets and suits. Her prices are far better than the bigger names yet she offers excellent service and a very nice assortment of fabrics.

Gianni Volpe is not a small Sartoria but is a prominent tailor coming out of Blasi apprentership (one of the most famous Neapolitan tailors for 40 years).

He is often mentioned by Giancarlo Maresca (previously discussed on this forum)on the pair of Rubinacci,Attolini, Panico, Solito etc

Having the history Ribinacci have, with the customer demand that comes with it, coupled with a double store front in Via Filangieri (now home to Bulgari, LV, Frette, etc) explain the prices. There are also more reputable tailors (famous within the city), that cannot be found on English speaking websites. One I have often heard of is Di Domenico for example.
