Hi all,

I will be going to HK this summer. I hope to find a nice tailor for a well fitted suit and many a couple of shirts. Does anyone here have any experiences with HK tailors? Any recommendations? Anything that I need to watch out for?

My budget is quite flexible, I'm willing to pay anything upto 800-1000 USD, but the cheaper the better. I heard you could get a decent suit for under 300. Could anyone direct me to some specific shops?

Thanks!

You may want to do a search; there's lots of material on the topic.

Remember you get what you pay for. What kind of cloth are you going to get with a $300 suit?

Alot of the Indian tailors wil do suits for $300 and most of them are along the Nathan Road and its side streets.

If you can get fabrics then you are better off at a tailor that does CMT.

Spend a little extra. Why bother with the second-rate? W.W. Chan will make you a really fine suit for $1,170 from VBC 110.
