1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

At these prices I can't go lower as that is already a great deal.

I will put it out there, the first person to contact me I will make them a free Prestige dress shirt. Only rules to this are you have to be in Toronto (so you can get fitted in the showroom) and you have to post telling everyone about it. My email and phone number are on the site or you can reply to this thread.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Do you make the shirts yourself or do you send them out? If the latter, are your shirts made in Canada or overseas?

Our factories are located in India. Our quality is top-notch and we have complete control from milling to final product. Prior to launching this company I personal sourced from factories from all sides of the globe and found this is by far the best price / quality mix out there.

Gents, I'm a bit tied up at work at the moment but I wanted to let you know that I met with Mike earlier this week. On the whole I was pretty impressed. In terms of cost Mike seems to be aiming for that sweet spot between Maxwell's and Harry Rosen so that you get maximum value for your dollar. That's probably in-line with what most of us want. There was a good selection of fabrics but not as many as I would have hoped for but that's probably because I am pretty picky. That said, there was enough of a selection that you could cover the basics pretty easily with Mike's selection. Some of the herringbone and striped fabrics are particularly nice. I choose a striped fabric with french cuffs. If you want a blue and green check shirt, you're out of luck. As Mike said, the production is done in India with Mike taking measurements in his showroom (which is quite nice-he has drinks on hand). The showroom is not a store front-it is on the second floor of 73 Richmond Street West and Mike has to buzz up so you won't be able to see it from street level. In what Mike told me he has a high rate of satisfaction and I could tell from talking to him that he takes pride in what he does and would go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. On my initial inspection the quality of the shirts seemed to be quite good and at least as good as the shirts I have from Harry Rosen so I have no qualms with the use of a factory in India. Mike mentioned that he spent a great deal of time in sourcing the factory he currently uses but I will leave that to him to describe if he wishes to do so. From what I have seen I think Mike is definitely worth a go and you should ring him and at least take a quick look at his wares. I will write a longer post when I receive the shirt in a couple of weeks and on the weekend when I have more time.

Thanks Ranjeev. Regard the check patterns, as we mill our own fabric we only launched with 300 of the staple patterns to suit everyone's wardrobe. We are aware of hole in the product line and have started to produce some new patterns for the Spring / Summer. I'll keep the site updated and post back here too as new fabrics come.

I can weigh in. Recently got a shirt done by Mike. I needed a significant taper at the waist and the shirt came out great. Fabric quality is top notch, and fit was 95% bang on the first time around, which was what I was worried about given the fact that he is passing on the work to someone else.

Will be buying again, especially given the price. Never had any other MTM shirts before because of the price, but this is much, much better than OTR + taking to a tailor, for my fit anyways. Have gotten several compliments on the shirt from non-sartorialists.

FWIW, my friend had a slight issue with his shirt and Mike went above and beyond to make up for it.

    Overall, very good experience.

Picked up the shirt today. Looks really nice and I am quite pleased. I'll take some pics after the shirt is laundered and post again later this week. Mike is a great guy and if you're looking to get a shirt made in TO I think he should be someone you pay a visit to.

+1 Mike is a nice guy, met him late last week as I just dropped by James VII. Didn't order a shirt though.

Looking forward to your reviews and pics Ranjeev...

Also waiting to see pics and ranjeev's review.

I'd definitely consider having a shirt made here if everything looks good...

Sorry guys...been getting killed at work and my camera is at my parent's house. I'll post as soon as I get my camera. I can take pics with my bb but I don't think that will do anyone any good. I wore the shirt to work and I believe one of my buddies is going in to get a shirt made.
