Gentlemen,

I managed to pick up a very deeply discounted Paul Smith suit at a sale. Taloring was not included in the purchase price.

The jacket fit well but I need some minor alterations: shorten the sleeves, make the sleeve buttons work, etc.

The pants need to be cut / cuffed and the waist needs to be taken in slightly.

I would like to find a moderately priced Tailor in Manhattan who comes highly reccomended.

Thank You,

Do a search for the "Hopefully definitive thread on NYC tailors".

Did you read the thread? There's lots of pricing info in it.

I've used a tailor on East 55th Street. I don't have the exact street address but he is between york and 1st on the south side of the street one level down from the sidewalk. Very good==had 3 suits done and very satisfied.

I'd go to Cardelino on Broadway at 23rd. They are not the cheapest, but the price is very fair and they know what they're doing. I take all my alterations there now, and they made a skirt from scratch for my wife that is great.

another satisfied Cardelino customer here. I think the price is very fair as well compared to other tailors quoted in the thread.

Y'all should post your tailor recommendations in the other thread so it's easier to find all this info.
