T M Lewin service

    Has no one else suffered the disgraceful service standards of this Company.

    The facts:

    Ordered online on Tuesday 24th My 2016, paid immediately. Payment included £9.95 for a Saturday delivery.

    Email confirmation the same day stating order details and delivery Saturday 28th May 2016.

    All well you may think!

    Saturday comes, no further communication from T M Lewin or their delivery companies.

    I called T M Lewin customer service line to enquire when I could expect delivery today Saturday 28th May? The lady looked on screen and could not find any tracking from their delivery Company Hermes.She said she would contact the delivery company and call me back when she had heard back from them. The lady duly called back in about 40 minutes to advise me that the carriers had not received the items but that T M Lewins had sent them out on Friday 27th May 2016! She also advised me that she could not find out where the items are at this time. She offered to re-send them, however, with Bank Holiday that would probably mean Tuesday or Wednesday!

    No good at all, otherwise I would have had delivery during the week before - I has specifically paid for Saturday delivery because I would be at home and available and more importantly, I need the items for Tuesday morning!

    What a shambles in this day and age, and then to cap it all - the refund would take 5 working days ie: Tuesday7th June after my original order placed 24th May 2016!

    I urge anyone thinking of buying online from T M Lewins to think again - it appears they are still living in the dark ages with online deliveries and cannot track goods when leaving their factory or indeed have any plans in place for immediate replacement when things go missing and as for refunding don't even go there.

    AVOID this Company.
