I have been applying to jobs as of late utilizing a 'T' cover letter, consisting of:

1) An opening paragraph
2) An additional shorter paragraph
3) The 'T' with their requirements and my qualifications
4) Closing paragraph

The cover letter is sent in either original 'T' form if attached as a PDF or in email form:

Your Requirement: XXXXX

My Qualification: YYYYYYY

Has anyone utilized the 'T' cover letter? If so, have you had more success using it?

I've used it in the past with mixed results. I also use a "cold call" version that has gotten better results.

I've never used it. I've seen it recommended before...I read an article saying you'll get more interviews that way. My cover letters pretty much do the same thing except in paragraph (trad) form.

I can't recommend huge deviations from the norm when it comes to the cover letter or resume. That said, it'll definitely get a recruiter's attention and it conveys your skills very succinctly.

Depends on the job-whether it was advertised or not, referred by a friend.
