Who doesnt. To be honest, our government is so inefficient and cluster f*cked, there are probably aspects of it that operate like in the movie, but the greater whole isn't aware of it.

Or in other words:

I don't think its "policy". Maybe just some bad apples...

Ever seen "The Cube"? I think that sums up many of the impressions I have abouit bureaucracy

It's based on a book by a former CIA operative, IIRC.

Brilliant film. The sense of scope and sinisterity is perfectly conveyed. My only complaint would be that even in a film of thumbnail scenes, Bennet's father character seems a bit sketchy.

Lots of nice clothes to boot.

--- I did notice this also, some excellent clothing by not only the US but our oil prince's looked dashing as well. It is a very gripping film, but a bit too 'QT' on the 'comeback' of Clooney's character at the end.

I thought it was brilliant .. loved this film, and can't wait to see it again.

I thought it was a good film, but I wasn't happy with the ending at all.

I felt it ended a little bit to badly. I hate to say it, but this is the first time I wanted a somewhat Hollywood ending, I felt it left me to empty afterwards (probably the whole point). Especially, since this was done by the guy who wrote Traffic, it could have been finished off a little bit more elegantly while still maintaining its true point.

I'm sure I will be the minority here

I don't think it was written to be a feel-good movie. I really like Clooney's movies lately. He's sort of turned into a Robert Redford, with a political message to say.

Finally saw it last night, liked it a lot. Had to pause a couple of times and take measure, compare notes to see if I was following everything correctly.

Clooney ending up out in the desert--probably needed a little more clarification. That was about it though.

I did feel as though there was alot to follow thoughout the movie; but didn't think it was overwhelming.
