Well after 3 months of no accidents I woke up this morning and realized I had gotten sweet and sour sauce on my jeans from the previous night (the red thick sauce in chinese food)

I tried cold water, even a little dish soap. Its still very obvious red spots. Anyone know a fix?

Soak the entire garment in sweet-sour sauce to achieve a uniform color.

Turn them inside out and wash them in warm water with Woolite Dark.
If that doesn't work try a Shout spot remover, which will probably leave a small light spot where it's stained now.
There's so much food coloring in that stuff that i'm sure it stains pretty easily.

for real, I just wear every stain out that I get. One day I was driving and a whole cup of iced coffee spilt on my knee, i wore it out in a few days.

^+1. I've gotten pee on my jeans from a broken urinal on dark lit restroom, and I kept wearing the pee stain with pride. Plus, pee fading is wonderful if you haven't tried it. Maybe Sweet and Sour fading will develop into a cult hit someday... just like pee fading has.

Yea i got tree sap on jeans while back. Tried bunch of different things nothing worked. So I ended up just wear it out. Gives the jeans some character (after all that is what its all about). And maybe a story to tell?

Spilled a thing of BBQ sauce on my jeans at a pizza place while drunk.

Spotted it the next day lightly with a slightly damp cloth.

Two weeks later it was gone, no wash.
