Sweet Champagnes.

It seems sweet champagnes such as Doux or Demi are rather difficult to find in stores.

In years past, the taste was for rather sweet champagnes, but these days preference appears to run towards the bruts and the like.

haha. for some reason I had the feeling you'd drink sweetened champagne. I have a bottle of Taittinger demi sec in my fridge right now, it's one of the two or three Taittingers we actually get here, much to my dismay, as I'd like to try Prelude. Not likely to drink the Taittinger soon though, as there's also a bottle of VC (of which I've also tried their demi sec) and Pol Roger vintage rose 2000 in my fridge as well.

I like to put yellow chartreuse into champagne.

I actually like really sweet sparking things as opposed to dry ones. I believe Pol Roger also has the Rich which is a Demi-Sec.
