    Fuji SERIOUSLY need to hurry up and release the 35mm equivalent lens. 50mm is nice, 35mm is nicer.

    5-10 sec exposure time I'd guess

    ya it was like 10sec or 8sec exposure, iso was like 4000, f1.4, someone happened to be walking by looking for firewood with a flashlight

    Very cool. My goal open buying my camera was to take cool night photos but so far I have been totally unsuccessful

    It was right before infinity, at infinity the tents were out of focus

    What are you guys usually shooting with? What cameras would you guys recommend for a student budget?
    Shooting w. a T1i w. stock 18-55, but looking for an upgrade.

    Either new lens [15-85] or switch a setup/body.
    Shooting involves: landscapes, school subjects [portraits], and shooting for friends [proms, events, etc]

    Prime Lenses > Zoom lenses.

    the 50mm f/1.8 is a great lens for the price, but any prime lenses will tend to give you better quality pictures than kit/zoom ones.

    you'll want a 35mm on a cropped sensor body though!
