Sutor - pebble leather?

What do you guys think of these Sutors on STP? Is the pebble texture a more casual look? Can they go with suits in formal settings (important meetings, interviews, court, etc)? Are they "rough" to the touch? Sorry for all the questions but I've never done the pebble shoe thing before.

It'll feel pretty smooth to the touch. I would not wear them to court (I assume you're a lawyer or law student - if you're a courtroom deputy or a judge they're fine) or to interviews. Meetings, maybe, but not ones where otherwise felt compelled to dress formally.

Oh, niiiice shoes! But lawyerdad is right about their dressiness. Actually, they're a bit of a mongrel: dressy design in a very casual leather. This is something I like very much, but it just forces them to be more "casual" than "dress."

This is my take as well. I really like pebble grain leather, but it makes the shoe casual. The only type of suit I'd wear with these would be tweed or corduroy.
