Suspenders or belts, for suits when everyone takes off their jacket

I am having a basic formal suit done in a medium gray fresco. I love suspenders and the traditional feel but find they are just too impractical for my context. I usually walk into a meeting or social event and more often than not remove my jacket. Or, remove my jacket anyway when just walkihng around the office. For this reason, I will probably go with belt, and have two pairs of basic gray pants that double as dress odd trousers.

Do you lose anything with belt over suspenders for suits? I understand you get a slightly less better drape, but is there anything else?

Has anyone else faced this issue?

In 1982 Lewis Lehrman ran for governor of NY. He was pictured in all his campaign ads wearing red suspenders and no jacket. It became the rage in NYC- many young attorneys and bankers began wearing suspenders with jackets off in the office.
Although trousers fit more cleanly with suspenders, you lose nothing else by opting for belt loops and a belt.
On a personal note, I sometime wear suspenders with my jacket off in my office/shop. It helps me sell the 21 colors of Grosgrain suspenders that I sell.

I don't see the problem. I usually remove my jacket in my office, revealing my braces. No one faints.

Belt is better in these circumstances. The modern office with aircon and controlled temperatures is the scourge of braces dearly though I love them.

Why would climate affect whether or not you wear suspenders? Thinking in buying a couple

If having two pair of pants made, why not have one pair made up with belts loops and one without?
