    Merona is a Target brand.

Ah, a second too late ...

Yes. And unlike most Target stuff, they may actually last through one wash.

I've never found target clothing to be particularly delicate.

I've had more than a few things not make it through, but that was in the early 90s when I stopped shopping for clothes there. Their current line of electronics don't last in the wash either.

    I wouldn't think so

Thanks for the heads up, OP. At that price they're definitely worth checking out; I'll be adding a couple of pairs to my basket the next time I'm there.

While these may be fine socks for $2.50, I wonder why someone with so many better socks would bother with these. With 400+ pairs, you surely you have enough socks to last you a lifetime so why would you wear these over the nicer ones? I probably have 40-50 pairs and never get to the bottom of the drawer and end up wearing the same 15-20 pairs all the time.

Brosef, when you have 700 shirts and 400 pairs you're not buying things for practicality. You just have a problem [IMG]

Now these are a great pair of fun socks!!! [IMG] Here's a shot of the new "Merona" (Target) skull & crossbones, sitting next to a similar version by Polo (which I purchased about 10 weeks ago...with an MSRP $18/pr). Guess which socks are more comfortable (by far)...and fit the best (by far)...and launder the best (I've worn the Polo's twice and you can see that they're already starting to show pilling...and that's with my line drying method!). [IMG] Kinda makes you wonder about the mark-up some manufacturers are making on socks...eh? Now don't get me wrong. I love many of my expensive socks and the majority of them were worth every penny (My Missoni socks are probably the overall best example..extraordinary socks). But I've got quite a few others that simply do not perform as well as these $2.50 Merona socks from Target!! Dennis

I think the skull and cross bones socks match the witch's bootie better.

I just dropped the Target near my work and there were some left so I grabbed a few pairs. Overall, the quality isn't too bad and for $2.50, I wouldn't feel too bad wearing it a few times and than using it for a shoe polishing cloth. There were no skull and crossbones though [IMG]

I went to every Target in town and kopped their entire stock.

They will be up in B&S tonight.

I was kind of excited visiting a local Target. I saw a bunch of fun socks, but I didn't buy any. I just simply don't like them. I would rather spend that money at the Rack or something.

These look fun. I picked some up. Got some skulls and dragonflies.

Wanted the navy and yellow fish but they did not have.
