Surprise Engagement Party

Looking for thoughts/suggestions/ideas on a surprise engagement party for my soon-to-be fiance. I wont be proposing at the party itself, but just prior to it (day before). Looking to cap it at 50 people. I would prefer something more low key (not a fancy dinner), but def open to all ideas. Thanks in advance!
