Just wondering if any of the Toronto members here have checked out this place or even have patronized them.

Website: http://www.surmesur.com/home

From Toronto Life: http://www.torontolife.com/style/toronto-stores/2013/10/16/toronto-store-guide-surmesur/

Suits starting at $325 sounds very intriguing.

bh: I have bought one shirt from them, I'd hesitate to get them to make a suit. I wouldn't outright reject the notion, but based on the shirt experience, I have my reservation.

I bought a shirt from them that should be coming in this week.
The experience was good - was measured by a style rep and also had that cool 3D body scanner that nailed my measurements pretty precisely.

I'll see how the shirt turns out and post back.

@borbor - what issues did you have with your shirt?

Any further reviews and recommendations? I understand that making the jacket canvas construction costs an extra $100. Would you recommend doing this for a Thailand suit?

if you're upgrading the fabric, why would you NOT go full canvas would probably be my question. You're spending 900-1k already, what's another 10%.
