Surgeon Cuffs on Custom Shirts?

I am debating ordering custom shirts with seperate cuffs (surgeon cuffs if you will). No real practical reason behind this move (i.e. I won't be swapping in white cuffs), but just like the look of them.

Am I being silly? Anyone else do this?

Fantastic! You can take them off and...uh...well, I guess you can put them back on again!

Wow. I wish I had those on my french cuff shirts that were ruined by ring around the sleeve.

I wouldn't use the term 'surgeon cuffs' to describe these; used in the same context as with suits all shirts have 'surgeon cuffs' since they can be undone and rolled up.

Can't really see the point of this if you're not planning on switching the cuffs at all; even then its pretty simple to put on new contrasting cuffs if the originals wear out.

It could be handy in a game of strip poker as it gives you more items that you can drop separately

Which shirtmaker are you ordering from that offers this option?

New & Lingwood. Though, any custom shirtmaker should be able to offer this.

Indeed - there is no point to this for my use. As I said, I think its 'cool'

This would be good in order to have a white contrast cuff, a barrel cuff and a french cuff that you could interchange for each shirt. I would like to see more pictures of this on. Mostly to see how noticeable the attachments are when wearing if they are at all.

I think it would depend on the price; if it were a £9 extra, I'd do it. Knowing N&L I'm assuming its more like a £30 extra, at which point I'd say it was showboating.
