Okay, I guess I'm late to the party, so pardon my ignorance:

Do I understand this correctly? As long as I go through these links to make my purchases as opposed to typing the sites into my browser or going through my usual Favorites, the vendor gives styleforum a cut? Sounds pretty cool, but how does that work exactly?

You are correct. Basically SF is an affiliate seller, the cookies and links identify the transaction as originating from SF's referral (J. et al, correct me if I am wrong).

Yes, Margaret. Price doesn't change, we just get a small portion of the proceeds, which helps defray the costs of operating the site.
