I only saw about 5 minutes of the game and the only commercial I caught was the one where they spoofed "Ultraman" (don't know what the product was but the Ultraman reference was nostalgic in a good way)

Good - K-Fed, CareerBuilder and the promo with Letterman and Oprah sitting on the couch...

Bad - GoDaddy (get a new schtick already, and what happened to the GoDaddy girl? She used to be attractive.)

Also bad - Garmin GPS systems - what the heck was that?

Not ugly, but just stupid, Budweiser with Jay-Z and Don Shula - what, Jay-Z is a better coach than the all-time winningest coach in the NFL and didn't they rip off the holographic game from an old Bond movie?

Overall, I wasn't all that impressed this year.

I thought all of the Coke ones were fantastic (particularly GTA and the "inside-the-vending-machine ones). CareerBuilder's also elicited a number of, "I didn't know there were doing a documentary on my job" comments. Great stuff. K-Fed's was funny as well.

Outside of those, I was mostly underwhelmed. I was also befuddled by the Van Heusen/Izod commercials, particularly the VH.

+1... Although there were a lot of good commercials, nothing really memorable imo. Nothing like Terry Tate, definitely one of my favorite commericals of all time.

People seriously watch the commercials? I spent the night flipping between the game and Rome oh and Chris Matthews show, WSJ show on CNBC and High Net Worth.

None were that memorable. I kept waiting for the "commercial" in which a man was going to propose to his girlfriend. Did that every happen?

I missed a lot of them, but I loved the silly Doritos one with the checkout girl getting sexually aroused by the chips the customer was buying -- that one really made me laugh out loud.

The GoDaddy.com babes at least made me want to check out what the hell that site's all about. I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

And the Coke 'black history' ones referencing the two black head coaches actually had more corn than a crate of Doritos.
