The Lester's are quite sharp. Had I not just bought the Ray Ban Ultra Caravans off of Gilt, I may have picked up the Lester.

Congrats on the purchase, I absolutely love Salts. Worth every penny, which is hard to say when they cost as much as they did.

Any other sunglasses shaped like Rayban Caravans? I saw a pair of Hacketts. Anyone have any experience with that brand?

Oliver Peoples has a model shaped like Caravans this year, as does Mosely Tribes. Again, the Salt Optics Lester are a lot like the Caravans.

In my experience, Salt's construction quality is better than Oliver Peoples and Mosley Tribes, so I would go with those.

Randolph Engineering and American Optical also both make glasses shaped like the Caravans.

Saw the thread about the Persol 714s and, man, are those nice. But like most sunglasses, I bet they look goofy on me.

I want get a pair of classic ray ban 3025 aviators and I noticed ebay is full of them for like one third of the price which I assume are counterfeit. What is the quality of these fakes? should I stick to the authentics ones?

That's what I was afraid of too!

Btw I don't like the way original 3025s are just so flat. They're at 90 degree angles. I like the wrap shape of the 3293

Do tortoise shell framed sun glasses work on fairer skin/hair/eyed people?
