It's a serious pair of sunglasses (real glass lenses make it somewhat heavy), and the color combos are classic.

You can get the concordes at the aviator supply store in Toronto (some pilot's supply store on Airport road - they're listed as a dealer on RE's website), or you can order them direct from RE and pay $20 shipping and will pay about $50 customs (I did).

I googled it and its called Aviation World. Do you know if they carry any American Optical pilot glasses?

Alright i feel like a complete tard posting this but i guess this is the forum for it anyway...

I've never really worn (sun)glasses because i've never found a pair that i thought i looked decent in. All through highschool(10yrs ago) if i wore them at all i wore aviators... that was when i had hair and before i got my old man skin etc haha

I have kind of a tall head, angular... big-ish eyes and nose etc.

I just got these at gilt but they sent me black on black instead of silver frames/grey-green lenses and i can send them back for a credit/refund... haven't actually worn them anywhere yet, just kept them in the box.

I'm getting to the point where i actually need eye glasses now too... so i need to find the proper style for my face.

Took a few close-ish pics for example... messed with the contrast a tiny bit because the flash brough my eyes through the lenses. Tried not to smile or anything as not to skew perception.

Opinions? I'm lookin for help here...

@splattered

looks too oversized to me. in my opinion some of the oversized aviators are a little passe. i would go with a smaller aviator shape.

I'm also looking for maybe different appropriate shapes, esp since i'm also gonna need to get eye glasses sooner rather than later

yeah they are too big for your face. try a smaller aviator like mosely tribes pilot. I think randolph engineering makes called pilot too.

Another option would be the Ray Ban 3362 or Ray Ban Caravan.

Ahh i do like the 3362.. those are medium/smaller aviators?

The Caravans appear to be pretty angular... would that look ok on me considering i have a pretty angular face?
