Hello, Long time viewer but 1st time poster so greetings to all! My fiancée and I are jetting off to The Bahamas in August for a beach wedding and It's normally an average of 29c. I'll be wearing this 3 piece suit matched with a pair of brown suede monk straps. My biggest concern that stems from a lack of experience is that I'll be boiling but this is why I went for the 3 piece so I can lose the jacket and still look smart. Can anyone recommend a good white shirt for this occasion? Any advice will do but please don't slate my choices, I'm in love with this suit. Thanks.

There's a company called Charle Tyrwhitt. They do a variety of white shirts. You should check them out.

I'm very familiar with CT and have lots of their shirts and ties. My suit is also made by them.

I wondered if someone might have advice on the best choice of shirt material to go under the suit.

Welcome to the forum, Josh. I'd go with a cotton/linen blend or chambray.

Thank you!

Was hoping to catch some people in really hot climates. CT say their poplin shirt is best to wear under suits in warmer months. Can anyone agree with this? I'm sure it would great for a UK summer but maybe not Florida heat...

Doesn't poplin show sweat stains easily?

Now that's the kind of feedback I like :). I struggled to find a linen blend shirt that was formal enough for the occasion. If anyone can reccomend some brands, that'd be great.

I am in the same boat as you, as I'm also going to a summer wedding, except it's in New England. I think a white oxford will be a good go to, but maybe not with a three piece. I'm wearing it with white jeans and a navy jacket. Check the what are you wearing now for images.

From what I've seen in the UK, Oxfords tend to be quite thick cotton so you don't think it'll work for me. Will keep looking and look forward to more advice.

I think Kent Wang might fit the bill. He offers linen/cotton dress shirts in white, blue, and pink.
