1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

i would appreciate some advice...i am getting married in august and have decided on a tux, single breasted, peak lapel, bow tie...but the question has come up what to wear with it a cummerbund or a vest...now i havent seen any relatively young man wear a cummerbund in a long time and high end places such as richards in ct, arent even showing vests for the summer b/c the salesman said its too hot to wear them and so they dont really offer them, during the summer its more of a fall thing...has anyone heard about this? what do i wear? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It's purely a matter of personal preference. You can get wild fabrics or very staid fabrics for either vests or cumberbunds. Vests will be warmer, of course. Think about the pictures too - -taken by your photographer and by your guests. Which will look better in photos? You're guaranteed to take off your jacket at some point too, once the dancing gets going.
