good pairing. I'm an unabashed fan of Birks, but I kinda think they'd look cooler with the solid cardi and ocbd in huhwut's fit, although that is already solid with the Vanz (or whatev sneakers).

Strong entries both, but for me summer means exposed ankle (ooh, I'm a time-travelling Victorian!), so huhwot gets my vote.

Don't really like cropped cardigans but they are better than birks.

It looks pretty cropped to me. If it was any higher it would be above his belt. I googled that guy and the few cardigans I saw were about that length.

Hahahaha! You're both wearing long pants and two layers up top in a "hot" climate? Oh dear...
But nice rags anyway- both looking good.

You guys are killing me. The accepted description of different styles certainly changes with time, certainly, but your definition is just something you made up, with no relation to commonly accepted usage. Cropped typically refers to something that hits well above the beltline. Think of a Levis Type III jacket, or a bolero jacket. Those are cropped. Something that hits at the beltline is not cropped. It's just "normal". You may prefer a different style, but you can't simply redefine average to be what you like.
As it turns out, Nick Wooster wears a lot of Thom Browne. And you should also remember that he is probably 5'5" on a tall day, and he tends to wear his pants pretty high on this torso.

Excuse me if it doesn't fit the technical definition of what a cropped cardigan is, but I think everyone knew what I meant. That one is about as short as any I've seen anyone wear on this site. It's a good two inches above his wrist. The one Teger posted isn't much higher. If a tall model were to size down and wear huhwot's cardigan like that one it wouldn't be far off.
