Linen or cotton? Or should I stick exclusively to summer weight wool?

Likely wool won't crinkle as much, but will it still be warmer than good quality Italian or Irish linen and Italian cotton?

There are tropical wools, like fresco, that are as cool or cooler than linen.

You want cloth that allows air circulation. Fresco, as Tomasso mentioned, as well as mohair and wool blends.

Linen is very elegant but a bit casual for business unless you're in a creative field.

Wool/Silk blends with half lined jackets helps with the heat.
