Summer shoes question

Hey guys, I've been lurking for several months but this is my first post. I'm 17 years old and just started working regularly enough to afford a (budget) stylish adult wardrobe. I'm currently in the beginning stages, I have a handful of button-up shirts in various styles, and just ordered a few pairs of chinos from Bonobos. I am also waiting on a panama hat which I plan to wear daily this summer. So, considering that wardrobe (chinos, button-ups, and a panama hat) what shoes would you recommend for the summer? Right now I'm in Nikes, but I'd like to end that as soon as possible. I'm not a huge loafer fan, but if anyone had a pair that doesn't make my feet look like canoes then that could be an option. Other than that I think I've narrowed it down to some black Sperry Topsiders or a pair of black and white saddle shoes. The reason I say black is not only that I like black, but I also just bought a nice $100 black belt. So, sorry for the long post, but if you have any recommendations on whether I should go with the boat shoes or the saddles, or some third option, then I'd appreciate it! Also, if you know of any good cheap (>$100) brands of saddle shoes that would be helpful too.

Thanks

basically:

Button-up shirts
Chinos
Panama Hat

Do you recommend black boat shoes or black & white saddle shoes.

Better?

It seems odd that you would spend $100 on a belt and then worry about spending $100 on shoes
