Why do you guys like or want?

I need a pair for the summer and I'm not into the short ones way above the knee either. I don't care how trendy they are.

J.Crew 7" or 9" (prefer 9) essential chino shorts are the piff. I rocked my blue ones all summer. Nice fabric and partially lined, pretty damn nice for $50.

I got dragged into forever 21 against my will over the weekend. Killing time I was looking at random men's stuff and came across a pair of navy blue chino shorts on clearance in my size for $7. Tried them on, they were surprisingly great. Bought them.

Riviera club/blanc 'n noir/wings + horns/

would be my favourite... they're all pretty similar though.

J Crew 9 inch inseam is great for average height guy (I'm 5'11''). Many colors available, Nantucket reds are essentially along with a couple pairs of khaki and navy.

Have 16 pairs for this season but granted some were formerly trousers now tailored off to a precise length.

The key point is that Julius lacks a distinguished euro-centric pedigree, while Damir has the proper lineage in spades (i.e. proper education + studied under influential designers). It is more than just paper. It actually causes Julius to lack the finely honed style that those with euro-centric mindsets have come to expect. Such admirers will call it "good taste" but it is really not much different than how the the French art academies narrowly defined what was acceptable art centuries ago. Jet is perhaps the biggest Hanes wearing elitist amongst us, yet somehow that makes him rather endearing.

Except that label has its own direction rather than being inspired by another european label.

First season dual layer concept. Yes.
