Summer dressy casual shoes

I've searched but just can't find a good answer. I've got sporty sneakers and black driving shoes (probably a bad idea). Need to expand into brown casual shoes. Are suede bucks the answer? Cap mocs? I dont see boat shoes as the solution. Always a fan of Allen Edmonds, so what's their best option!? I'm thinking the fiesole, as I could wear them sockless with jeans perhaps. Also considering the firenzes, naismiths basketball grains, montecitos, suede penny loafers.? Any ideas? I need to move toward classic stuff, but always like a slight twist, vintage ness, uniqueness, or edginess to things.......

I'd say you could mate. Btw is there a reason you don't want boat shoes? In my opinion they would be great on shorts.

Rancourt has a number of good options from loafers, Ranger Mocs, and yes boat shoes.

They get most of their leather from Horween, the quality and construction is real good, and the shoes can be re-soled.

The Rancourt ranger mocs are a great value. I've been wearing the same pair (the cheapest model) for field work for almost two years and they're holding up very very well. And they still clean up nicely, so I also use them for walking shoes on vacation.
