Thanks Saskatoonjay. The short is clearly too short. The reg seems a little long. Are you satisfied with the regular? Would you order another?
I do like the regular, and the jackets I’ve bought since are all that length. Keep in mind that height isn’t the only factor. I think I have a long torso, and short arms, and square shoulders. These factors seem to play into how a jacket’s length looks on me. We could be the same height and wear our jackets really differently. I’m really glad I ordered both and took a few days to decide which one to send back.

I just read Tan France’s memoir. He admits that for the Queer Eye premiere he got his tux at SuitSupply. Look at that jacket length. The poor bastard got SuitSupplied.

Damn that looks bad. Who let him out the showroom like that!

Jacket and sleeve length look terrible. I’m a fan of the Suitsupply “look” but that looks comical.

Just picked up my second SS MTM suit. The pants are even better with this one and I’m not getting the minor pocket flare I was getting on my first pair. I asked them to lower the buttoning point on the jacket a little bit, and they did slightly but it’s so minimal that you can’t even really tell in the pictures. I doesn’t feel too high IRL but for some reason the buttoning point always seems to look a little higher in pictures. Overall I’m still very happy with the suit!

I love the 3-roll-2 lapels!

Hi all. Getting married in a few weeks need a tie suggestion. I'll be wearing their blue line grey houndstooth suit with a pair of nordstrom light brown shoes. Pic below is the exact suit (stock photo from SS website). Any suggestions? I saw the tie below at banana republic the other day and it caught my eye, but might not be appropriate. I think a lavender might be a better choice, but unsure of what pattern and haven't seen any I like.

If it was me, I'd be keeping it super simple for a wedding - a navy grenadine maybe

Going to have to second the recommendation of keeping it simple and classic. Can't go wrong with a Navy Grenadine tie! For a wedding I'd go with a Fina weave tie.
