Start at $369 in canadian funds. The jacket pictured above was $299.

Also, the site is totally sfw. Not sure what earlier posts were referring to, but the site I get directed to has no issues at all. Simply an online store. Maybe the MTM site is different...

eh, they use to have a plainly pornographic website...very tasteless.

I'm glad to see they've cleaned it up...far more legitimate

Reminds me of American Apparel. They city I live in got one a few years back, and the residents actually petitioned to make them take down the ridiculous signage on the windows (it was as close to Appreciation as you can get in public).

Not great pictures by any stretch of the imagination, but here is my 1st SS jacket, washington cut, 38R. I'm 5'9, 165lbs and this jacket fit me pretty good right out of the box. Shoulders dimple slightly, could use a very slight sleeve adjustment, but other than that, i'm happy with the fit of the jacket. Waiting for the Chicago retail store to open later this month where I'll be picking up a whole lot of stuff.

This fits you very well. Looks great! I was on the site just now looking for this jacket and I dont see it available with these pockets. Can you please point me in the right direction?
Anyone else mess with any sport coats/jackets in any other styles but the Washington? Anyone try the Paris? Thanks!

What do you think about the fit?

I just bought two Suit Supply suits in the same style: 38R and 40R.
  • For the 38R, the jacket shoulder seems to fit well, but pants too tight.
  • For the 40R, the jacket feels a little big, but the pants are just right (I am lower-heavy because of squats).

Here are some pictures so that you guys can compare notes before purchasing SS. I fit well in a Brooks Brothers Fitzgerald 39R.

What do you guys think about the fit? Should I keep the 40R or return both?

44R arrived today. Fit is better almost everywhere. Went down to an R from L for 2 reasons... one, the 44 R has some additional length over a 42R, and two, they're out of 44L. I think the length is pretty decent. not much needs to happen in the arms, and the front and back are passable (excuse the first, front on shot. The upward angle is making it come across a little shorter than it is). Also, please excuse the wrinkles. I've been wearing this morning, and it definitely shows in the elbows/arms. Wool/Linen blend. Go figure.
Thoughts/comments on alterations of any kind?

you have a rather erect posture in this picture, it is making the back vents open up quite a bit, which I can't tell if it is from being too snug in the waist or just the way you are standing. This jacket looks a bit short on you and you seem to have some balance issues with it (the front looks shorter than the back, again, possibly due to posture. I would suggest letting the waist of the jacket out a bit. otherwise, it looks pretty good in the chest and shoulders and the style suits you. it can be altered to look great.

edit: again, maybe posture, but the lapels seem to bow a bit, stand a bit more relaxed so we can see if they lay flat. I especially think wider lapel jackets like this need a bit of roll (not bowing).

Thanks for the feedback. My posture is not usually that erect. I'm actually working on it... experiencing some back issues, related to driving 55,000 + Km's / yr.

I think I'll bring it to the tailor and see about letting it out slightly in the waist. As for the lapels... every single jacket I own bows in the lapels, with the exception of H&M cheapies, which have no construction at all. Not sure which part of my odd build causes this, but I have spend numerous sessions in different stores/tailors trying to nail it down. Even my recent MTM purchase has the issue to an extent.

Would love to know what causes this. Totally open to suggestion.

I'm leaning towards posture and some snugness in the hips causing these issues.
