Have someone experience with adjusting the hip width in the size passport?
I bought a pair of CM trousers that needed more room in the front by the pleats/hip. How much difference does "+1:0 increase slightly" make?

How does the waist, upper leg and seat fit? Tightness felt in the pleats/hip are can be also related to tightness in those measurements. I would say +1.0 increase slightly is a increase you notice in hip area but not overly much.

I also need to let the waist out 1-1.5cm. The seat was a little tight. Upper leg was like I prefer it, enough room with a nice drape.

I was looking the correct measurements for my suitsupply trousers a while back and it took me few orders to get them to the level i feel comfortable. If your waist is too tight along with your seat i would adjust them first generously and see where you are after that. Of course it's impossible to say without seeing the trousers and fit pictures.

I didn’t take any pictures before sending them back unfortunately…
But adjusting the waist like you said sounds like a first step. I’ll place another order and see how it goes

Got some wool trousers and they are too tight at my calves. There is extra fabric inside. Does anyone know if SuSu widens these and how much it costs? On the website it only states tapering in the pricing list.

I generally have this problem as well. They can open the calves like 1cm and pull every little bit out the pants and hopefully your calves will clear.

Don’t let them tell you crap because it is possible. It’s just a matter if the tailor wants to do it or not. You just say take every single millimeter out of the calves you can.

Officially, Suitsupply will say that there is not enough fabric to increase the calf circumference, but there are some store reps and tailors that can and will do so. Squeezing out that extra cm sometimes makes a big difference. In the Philadelphia Suitsupply, the rep and tailors used to always do this alteration for me, but I’ve experienced other reps and tailors at SuSu say it’s not something they do.

Thanks for the information. I will try to get the rep at SuitSupply to increase the calf circumference. If they are not willing, I will try the tailor I normally go to.

Is it possible to get a custom suit made in the updated havana DB models? Look way better than the Lazio DB model through the custom-made program. Smaller collar making the peak more defined, and a better buttonhole placement.

Havana is just the standard width lapel and Lazio the wide version. You can choose between these options in the Custom Made programme.

That seems odd, considering the standard width should be 2cm smaller in width compared to the wide lapels.
They seem to be about the same width to me.

Was perusing through the custom made option for fun yesterday. Anyone know the difference between their sartorial and luxury lineup?

Hello everyone. I’m writing to see if someone can help with this issue. I’m thinking of getting a Greenwich shirt jacket. I’m 168cm and I normally take 52S (74cm backlength, and it’s just right, but 1 cm less wouldn’t be bad. Shirt jackets only come in regular sizes. I asked suitsupply to know What they think and they said they’re not “alteration friendly”. You think I can get a couple of cms without compromising the pockets? What about sleeves? I suppose they’re not working cuffs like regular ones, right?

How’s the quality of SS’ camel fabric? I’ve been thinking about getting a new overcoat and the picture of a classic polo coat is still on my mind (think classic RL camel polo coat). Also, how’s the durability? Is it more durable than cashmere?

I've worn my camel overcoat seasonally since 2019 and it's kept up well. I really like it, but have never compared it to other brands.
