Just the standard 3.5”. No point length modification.
From the angle they look way shorter, but I suppose the angle can be misleading. Is it possible (and decent looking) to wear a tie with it?

Got my custom jacket today, overall really happy with it and excellent fit out of the gate. I basically just used the 48L as a base and tweaked the sleeves and nipped the waist,

will need it for an upcoming summer evening event,

Looks great. Did you start with a Washington and modify to remove ticket pocket, make 1-button? Or is it a Havana base and you changed lapels to peak?

Washington fits me like a glove, especially armholes, and I would love to use that but change lapels to notch and do spalla camicia shoulders for a SC but not sure that's an option.

Here are a few crude preliminary fit photos. I did use the Washington as a base.

I really dislike SS peak lapel gorge height and this style has become unusable for me. I have sloped but muscular shoulders and usually go with natural shoulder. Tips of the peak label are higher than my collarbone. Lighter the fabric the more pronounced the effect is. I have one navy jacket with padded shoulder and peak lapels and it's more pleasing to my eye.

Current delivery times are long and the initial time frame at the time of ordering isn't correct. Combine that with price hikes and i might go for a quality MTM next time when i need a new suit even if it's a little bit pricier.

And what is quality MTM? I don't know of anything in the same price range that can rival SuSu, except Grand Le Mar, because it's made at the same factory, but have a bit more attention to details

Hello all,

First post here. I just bought two MTM shirts from SuSu, one with button down collar, the other with the classic collar. Both were with the 4cm collar height.

The button down collar one is very nice, I am absolutely pleased with it. I love the 3.5 inches point length.

I am disappointed with the classic collar. Point length being 3 inches and collar height at 4 cm, the tip of the collar is almost flying. Overall, it looks quite cheap.

Given that SuSu MTM shirts are my most comfortable, I would like to order from them again, but don't want the disappointment.

I went to my local store, and asked for the point length of the widespread collar. They told me if was even shorter, which I find hard to believe. They did not provide anymore details and were generally quite unhelpful. On the website, the widespread collar looks very nice and full, but so does the classic collar.

Does anyone know the measurements of the widespread collar?

Thanks!

I came back to the SS website hoping for some spring/summer offerings.

Why is there a BLACK linen suit, of all things? That would have been perfect in almost any other colour; I would love a linen DB, but black makes no sense. Do you wish to boil?

The shirts are looking worse and worse and tiny collars have somehow made it to SS. This is very sad.

I'm tempted by trousers, but will probably look elsewhere for a real rise.

Can any of the CM enthusiasts recommend a place to get decent linen shirts, perhaps a summer suit, and some off-white trousers?

Thanks. I wish SS would turn things around a bit.

I’d say Spier & Mackay offers quality MTO suits at a much better price.
I too wanted to give SuitSupply another chance but the inconsistent fits of their RTW offerings, the lack of clear communication between website/CS reps and price hikes doesn’t make it as good of an option as it used to be.

I'd prefer an option with in-EU shipping, but there we go.

Sometimes it feels as if we've gone backwards—I used to love almost the whole SS collection, but now it's a real challenge.

As much as I love SuitSupply, I think that my Divij (Hemrajani) and Spier & Mackay bespoke or MTO shirts are of higher quality. They offer more classic collar styles, with longer points. Have you considered either one of them?

If Divij visits your city (this is an option for U.S. folks), I say look into him. His basic line is cheaper than SuitSupply’s.

I know SM quite well. I had a shirt custom made. It is now being remade because of tailoring mistake for sleeve length. My biggest issue are delays. It took forever to get the shirt in the first place, and the remake is taking even longer to be made. Furthermore, I kept the first shirt just to see how it reacts to multiple washes and it keeps shrinking and shrinking. It makes me worried for the remake.

I don't have that issue with SuitSupply shirts. They are my most comfortable. Just disappointed with the classic collar and wondering how the widespread fits.

I definitely had the same issues with SM. Their MTM is also incredibly inconsistent.

Interesting. That’s a shame. Perhaps SM’s MTM quality and delivery timeframe has taken a turn since I last purchased from them in 2020, when I switched to Divij.

At any rate, not to sidetrack the original question about collar point lengths. I’ll measure my SS ones and will reply shortly.

I ordered the shirt below, and its spread collar points measure 3.5". I have to have the sides taken in by my tailor on these slim fits, but Luxire just didn't have a similar fabric.

I'm wearing it exclusively without a tie under a jacket, and the collar stands respectably and looks great, IMO.

I hope that helps.

I haven't tried their MTO shirts....but I have several Spier & Mackay MTO Suits and I can tell you they have all come out consistent in fit.
