I like that you responded to an 10 year old question!

... which calls for a celebration of sorts! My oldest purchase from them is about 6 years old now when it was new but I also picked up some items on eBay over the years that date back to like 2010-2011. Happy to report that I don't have anything torn, faded, or worn out but I am very careful and YMMV obviously.

I wonder if the original NYC store will do any kind of commemorative event?

events are not a big thing, these days... maybe their recent marketing shoot is to celebrate their old cringey ads? :p

Ten years as a store and as a thread! Quite an accomplishment. My oldest suit from SuitSupply is around 6 years old, circa 2014. Navy VBC S110, in the York fit. It’s going strong—and for a while, it was my only suit. Definitely abused the heck out of it, so speaks to their build quality.

The York is still my favorite fit. I have two more, and they are custom, but I feel like they made the chest/generally everything too tight on them. The York is more roomy. Still, great company and products. To 10 more years!

At least 6 months. I got a new custom made suit and my custom made specialist suggested that I wear it for a few months, even 6 months, and bring it back after I've had a chance to feel out the suit. There might not be a time limit at all.
I would think the goodwill generated by allowing alterations forever more than offsets the very small proportion that will wait more than a couple months to get final adjustments.

I love that you are replying to the post made 10 years ago! But, then, you have every right to!
haha, I didn’t look at the date however the comment remains valid with respect to suitsupply. I frequent Europe and the Netherlands where they originated so I didn’t even know they were in the states. . Alas NYC has degraded to one of its lowest points due to its leadership.

I figure this is a long shot - does anyone have a yellow casentino overcoat in a 44 or 46 they’re looking to part ways with?

Honestly, gentlemen, if y'all need any Suitsupply accessories - sunglasses, gloves, belts, suspenders -- the first day of last two outlets these can be had for like 75%. I really went to town in this category last time, and these items are great value at this price point. So, wait for the, most likely, July outlet if you need these.

good advice, although in each outlet accessories sold out very fast and couldn’t get any. In fairness they are overpriced and not of great quality (like their shoes) so if you can get at a discount it’s better value.
I must find out who 3 wierd items from the outlet :
1) kilt
2) table tennis rackets
3) backgammon set

I got a pair of Harris Tweed suspenders for like 5 years ago. Not that I have used them a lot, but they are really nice.

I debated the kilt, but I really didn't know what size I needed.

Yes as a matter of fact I have seen 3 and on those 3 occasions spent too much.
They did 2 last year for Canada. Depends what country you are in. Subscribe to the newsletter if you wanna be in the know (usually late when all the best stuff is gone) or follow here everyday and hope (usually december-January and april are outlet months).

Outlet pricing is great value. Full canvas, jorts, for 70% off is not too shabby. You just need several lives to wear all that stuff.

Good to know. I’ll ask my salesperson. I go all over the world so I’m sure I can go to one. BOGGI sales are great too. Higher quality stuff and innovative designs

They were primarily online only, the most recent one (Black Friday) had some in-store discounts but online is where you win.

Boggi doesn't ship to as many countries, though, including mine.

Also, only SuitSupply can give me massive lapels without going bespoke.
