Yeah, that's too bad. I haven't tried any of their suits yet and so even at bargain prices I'd rather not risk getting stuck with something that doesn't fit.

Big plus for EU people to have returns by law when shopping online.

All my stuff now sent, 4 different packages by UPS. Apparently i double ordered 2 jackets because they didn't show on my first confirmation mail. Sure glad I don't live in US ?

So the pre-access to the outlet said it would last 48 hours, meaning it should probably go public tomorrow in about 9 hours (in EU atleast). But with pretty much "everything" gone, how long will it last? Or will it come with a re-stock?

thanks, I double checked the numbers against my North Face down jacket and they do seem to match up.
I got thrown off by the images showing a trench coat!
A Large North Face puffer jacket is very similar to the 42 here, but the waist is a bit slimmer, its a 47 on the north face but 45 on the 42 Down.
My belly at the Navel is 41ish wearing a tshirt and hoody, I wonder if I can pull off the 40 or need a 42.
I dont want to be swimming in it.

Anyone have this Down Jacket or seen it in person and can comment on the quality and/or fit??
Also, why does the 'body chart' show 36-37 for the waist (sz42) but on the Product details, it shows 45 on the 'upper waist'.
I dont understand this chat, why is it giving an extra 8 inches, isn't this the same body part?
Thanks for any help!

@throwawaytf02 Most folks find it necessary and preferable to size up when purchasing Suitsupply coats because the sleeves are often too short and to allow room for wearing your suit jacket and other top layers.

Not the case with me. Have 6 Suitsupply coats — all same size as suits and jackets — perfect sleeve length on everything w/o tailoring, Maybe I am just lucky and have the model SS arm to body ratio?

I unsubscribed from Suitsupply emails long ago. Does this mean they haven‘t even sent out outlet news to the general public?

There still seems to be a good bit of stuff left. I'm shocked there are that many ties remaining. I just found myself back on the outlet and ended up getting another suit and 5 ties. It's going to be hard for me to ever spend normal prices again after this one.

That's funny cuz as much as I love that down coat, I bailed on it thinking the sleeves would be too long. I have short arms (32/33 in dress shirt) but have a bit of a gut (generally buy classic fit suits and avoid slim fit) so I was worried that the size40 (I'm a 40s in most suit jackets) would be too tight around my waist but the 42 would be too long on the sleeves. I talked to them in the chat and they said the jacket can't be tailored and the sleeves can't be rolled up at all.

oh shoot, i bought it assuming a tailor could shorten the sleeve (i tried it on previously and the sleeves were too long). is it that hard to tailor down? if so, hit me up if anyone wants a 36 at cost

Ikr I just wanted to get a tuxedo jacket for about 350 euros made from scratch and now I saw that they offer one that looks 90% the same for like 120 euros or so.

I will probably not get the made from scratch one anymore

@throwawaytf02 I shouldn’t have written “most folks”. That’s a little presumptuous. I should’ve stated that “many folks” like me find it necessary to size up on the coats because of the short arm length and to make room to wear a jacket. Suitsupply jackets used to offer the L and S sizes on most coats. Now they only offer the R size, which is unfortunate.
