Has anyone here ordered a MtM overcoat? Haven't seen one yet myself. I asked about it in store quite a while ago (about a year back perhaps) and the prices were pretty steep for thicker winter fabrics, if I remember correctly.

As I understand it, they no longer offer custom made overcoats. At least, that’s what the store told me a month or so ago when I expressed interest in a custom made overcoat.

I had a MTM overcoat made in the winter of 2018/2019. I paid 770 euros for it then. It's a 55/45 wool/cashmere blend if I'm not mistaken. For an overcoat it's definitely on the thinner side, but considering the Dutch winters aren't that harsh and I'm always wearing several layers underneath it, that's okay for me.

Really? It used to be like 9000 SEK. Then again I never saw anyone order one...

Just picked up my custom made shirt and suit from the Stockholm store. Very happy with the result and fit.
I could definitely recommend Niklas who’s one of the specialists there, he helped me with measurements.

Something looks different with the lapel treatment, in a good way. Did you have any modifications done to the lapel?

I was told they only offer it in Amsterdam now.

Hey @Betelgeuse, I was doing some research in another thread and came across a thread of yours from several years ago. Looks like you were asking for opinions on having a tailor remove/reduce shoulder pads on a suit you had with quite structured shoulders. Did you ever go through with this? If so, was it successful and how much did it cost? Thanks in advance!

Do we have any tailors on this thread? I’m also curious—but my sense is that this is a difficult alteration, as it would fundamentally alter the suit’s structure. @Marc S, is this question hypothetical or are you considering having this done?
