nope..Fresno, CA...can you believe that??!! I grew up in a bigger city (well two, NYC and Baltimore) and none of the tailors I have run into can hold a candle to these tailors.. its crazy!

A 2 hour drive from me but I have family in Fresno. What's this Tailors name just in case I ever need surgery on a suit?

I really do like the fabric. It is see through in fact if you look closely. So it is really cool.

If you have more questions feel free to ask.

I'm considering my next suit purchase. Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is too much to wear to events such as an outdoor, semi-formal wedding? I'm going to quite a few these days and looking to mix it up a bit, but I'm not sure how a suit like this would be perceived:

http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/suits/lazio-blue-check/P4219I.html

I know it's not the most practical suit, but damn, I love that color.

Also looking at these (I want something with a pattern to it, basically):
http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/suits/lazio-light-brown-check/P3931I.html
http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/suits/lazio-grey-check/P3866I.html

Light grey is most practical, and since I don't currently own a light grey suit I know that's what I SHOULD do. I think it looks great when guys wear bold patterned suits, but at something like a wedding I'm not sure it's a good idea to stand out so much.

If anyone actually owns that blue check 3-piece Lazio I'd love to see a pic. Found a couple in the thread but none where someone was wearing it. Thanks guys!

Get the light grey check if it's still available in your size. The navy check is nice too, this is mine:

I own the blue check. I will try to post pictures wearing it today. I've actually had it since it was released and have only worn it once. I know I will again; I just don't know when. I also ordered the brown check this winter. It was very nice. As I recall it seemed like it would be warm, and it is part of the winter line. I decided to return it. I really like the grey check and seriously considered purchasing it.

Great looking jacket and nice fit! In the imgur album, which picture best represents the true color? Thanks!

I don't think any of those suits are so boldly patterned so as to draw a lot of attention. They're all smart looking and are just a bit more interesting than a plain suit, but certainly not distracting or obnoxious.

I'd get the light grey check over the plain grey. A Glen plaid suit is very versatile!

Thanks,

I would say the last one, where you can see my arm. The other one were taken at home with the sunlight being at a really low angle.

Your suit is gorgeous but I think he is looking at a linen blue check suit, whereas yours looks to be wool. I would be hesitant to buy a linen suit if versatility is at all a concern.

2 out of 3 suits he mentioned are wool. You are correct about wool being much more versatile than linen though.

Hey all, just looking for a little advice here. I own a pain navy napoli suit from suitsupply which is the main suit that I wear. Also have a medium grey suit which I have purchased. My third suit (which is my more casual summer suit) is the one pictured in this dappered article. http://dappered.com/2014/06/the-suggestion-a-summer-suit-in-blue/ or here if the link works for you http://eu.suitsupply.com/en/suits/napoli-blue-check/P3832.html- so it is a mid-blue SS suit I bought last year, has been tailored and fits very well.

I recently purchased the 3 piece lazio suit that is medium blue and it is a lovely suit as well. http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/suits/lazio-blue-plain/P4259I.html?vpid=P4259I05 I know it was in very high demand, so when I saw one come back available, I pulled the trigger. My question is, considering I own 4 total suits now (2 staples and one more fun suit), would this blue 3 piece be too much like my casual suit to be worth it? I still do have time to return the suit if I would like and I just cannot make up my mind. Sure, it is a lovely suit, but would I be better off returning it and then getting something that is either mildly patterned (like the navy check posted by another member) or maybe a brown suit? Can this lazio 3 piece be worn formally as a two piece? I am fairly new to suit wearing and so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was interested in going through Suit Supply for my next suit, however my proportions call for MTM.
I absolutely love the Soho fit, but unfortunately it seems like the Seattle store only offers the "Blue Line" tailoring options,
which sounds like just basic modifications of the Lazio or Napoli fit.

I'm 5'6" with very long legs versus my torso length (would need a 26.5" backlength), so altering an existing Soho 34S is out of the question.
Any options for me or is it basically just waiting until Seattle gets the Suit Up tailoring option.
