Received my exchanged pants today. MUCH better in the thigh though they will need to be taken in at the waist. Will see a tailor tomorrow to address that as well as the lengthening of the sleeves. All in all, the SS process was flawless. The exchanging was easy and the customer service has been *excellent*. Very impressed. Now all I need is the alterations and I will post final pictures. If anyone wants any detailed shots of the lapels, the buttons or the lining (that kind of stuff) please let me know and I will post them.

The 42S washington fits me pretty well off the rack. We can compare measurements if you like. I wear a 16.5 neck/ 32 shirt, 42.5 inch chest, 33.5 waist, I'm 5'9 but my inseam is only 29ish, shoulders around 18.5/19. My only complaint is the button stance is a tad high for my proportions. If you have the same inseam or longer than me(since you are 5'6), it might be better for you however, however.

They let you exchange pants for different ones? Did you get one of the models that they sell separately? I've been bugging them to buy an extra trousers for my suit, but they wont sell me any unless I go in and get MTM custom pants, haha.

Any suggestions regarding suit supply shirts? Hugo Boss slim fit shirts fit me perfect in a size 16.5, I also like the fit of Thomas Pink and ETON shirts. I see that Suit Supply has slim and extra slim fit shirts, How do suit supply shirts compare?

I went with the Napoli. This one: http://us.suitsupply.com/suit-navy-...jd/P1105-JD,en_US,pd.html?start=28&cgid=Suits
Button stance was quite high and the arm holes as well. Felt a little odd at first but very very nice. I will post detailed pictures later, probably Thursday night or Friday as its at the tailor. The only thing is the sleeves were short and needed to be lengthened.
Yes. There are only 2 models that you can do that with (I think). Mine, and the grey Napoli. Thats the biggest problem. The waist of the 34 was fine, but the thighs were too tight for my goalie legs haha.

The only issue is this. With the 40S, the sleeves are quite short. Lengthening them isn't a problem however the tailor I visited today said he can't add button holes because he does not have the same machine that Suit Supply used to make the holes, and that they would look different. Honestly I don't care, because there will just be a bit more space between the buttons and the end of the cuff but i was surprised. Does this make sense? I thought it would be possible.

I got a MTM at the Chicago store. Overall I'm very happy with the suit, quality and fit. There is one aspect of their suits that bugs me I haven't seen mentioned, the roll of the lapel. It seems like the canvas is pretty thick, or maybe it's just a construction issue, but the lapel, when the jacket is buttoned does not lay completely rolled smoothly, but rather, there are "protrusions" from the canvas. This is something you can see on their models on their website, and I see on every one of their employees in store.

For instance, look at this guy and zoom in on his left lapel:

    http://us.suitsupply.com/suit-blue-plain-jort-p3343i/P3343I,en_US,pd.html?start=4&cgid=Suits

Or this guy and zoom on the right:

    http://us.suitsupply.com/suit-brown...-p3366/P3366,en_US,pd.html?start=6&cgid=Suits

and you can see it is "bumpy"

Otherwise, I'm happy, but this is somewhat annoying.

You know, I noticed this except it was a button protrusion. Hmm seems more common than a "one time thing"

Also noticed it. It's because of the placement of their top button in their 3-button-roll-2 suits (Washington mainly). Added with somewhat of a lapel roll. the effect is that slight protrusion. Not a huge deal, but the solution is probably to make the lapel larger towards the buttoning point.
