Yes they are.. the only line they have that are fully canvassed..
2 Questions here:
Has suitsupply ever had a discount/sale?
How long is the turnaround from getting measured in store (NYC) to receiving the suit?
So here my quick and dirty review of the Havana
Size 98 (40L), Height 183cm, Weight 78kg.
Fit Pic (highly edited in saturation, color not true):
- Size seems to fit me.
- Sleeves have to be shortened (folded them inside for the shooting)
- Light construction with no lining, seems to be warm&autum/winter appropriate, though
- 49% WV 49% CO 2%SE (Suitsupply's site gives you other information)
Looks pretty good ! What do you plan on wearing it with ?
Well, that was what I was wondering, too.
I really like the fit, but the color seems a bit hard to combine. I will try pairing it with some grey slacks (flanell and worsted) and think I will buy a navy chino, too.
Jacket looks nice. Light/Medium grey trousers would be ideal with this. I wouldn't go with a navy chino though.
I'll order one if they release a plain version of it. Apparently, there will be another blue coloured Havana according to SS but I have no idea if patterned or whatnot.
Your outfit would look better if your pants weren't bunching up like that... But I'm sure you've had your share of comments on that in the WAYWRN thread.
As far as I know they don't do sales, but they do have several outlet stores. Sadly these are all in the Netherlands and Belgium.
As previously been said all is half canvassed except Seville which is fused (I would avoid it) and Jort which is fully canvassed. Their Blue Line Personal Tailoring (sort of MTO with some possible changes) is half canvassed, too, and their Red Line Personal Tailoring (= MTM) is fully canvassed.
Yeah, this is true. They don't do in-store sales, just ship everything to the outlet stores.
Parcel just came in. Soho-DB was supposed to be in it. Napoli was in it instead. Mistakes happen, I guess.
I hope I will get the DB, though...
Do you happen to know the starting price points for the blue and red line?
Customer service just the other day told me blue line starts at $599. I can't find the email right now, but I *think* it said red line starts at $849.
It's also on their site: http://www.suitsupply.com/tailorservice/content-page-tailoring-in-store-tailor,en,pg.html
I received my suit. Took pics, but they look crappy; will take more tonight and post them, before I take them to alterations guy. From my amateur perspective, I am happy with the fit. Sleeves will need to be lengthened, and pants hemmed, but otherwise it feels great.
Edit: Posted crappy pics anyway. Any feedback?
Looks pretty good. Is that the Napoli?
