Hey all - Does anyone have any experience with the Trento top coat? What's the fit like and how are the sleeves in particular? I'm a 6'2, 180lb, should a 38L fit?

Got my Napoli in size 46 today, and unfortunately it won't work for me.

The positive:
- Fabric and construction is way better than what you would get for the same price here in Sweden
- Very little collar-gap
- Cut on the jacket was quite nice, slim but not overly so

The bad:
- Short sleeves (even shorter than they look on the website)
- Pants were way too large, I could have easily fit in a pair of 44s
(- Would have maybe preferred slightly shorter body-length, but possible I wouln't have minded the length if the above two issues hadn't been)

Is it possible the York fit would work better for me, or will I have to look elsewhere for my graduation-suit?

Hi,

the pants on the Napoli are the tightest what Suitsupply has (based on what I read in this thread). If they are too big, don't go to York, at least on in the same size. The Suitsupply web page has the dimension for all their cuts and sizes.

looks like the inches are automatically calculated from the centimeters dimensions and like mrtopcat said they input the inches into the centimeters so the dimensions for the inches are off by 2.54.
But 26.4'' is still too short for any jacket in size XS.

Does SS NY offer free alterations? The one that recently opened in Toronto requires that you pay for them, which I wouldn't ordinarily have an issue with unless it's free elsewhere.

It isn't free anywhere.

Yeah, my Napoli pants are extremely slim. For the La Spalla and Lazio models, I had to have them taken in at the waist and seat. The Napoli were just right at the waist, but the thighs are so tight that I feel like I will rip them open just by sitting down. That, along with the jacket being too roomy, make the Napoli the most oddly-proportioned suit (at least in my mind).

you can’t look at the picture for how they measure. It shows a measurement that would be consistent with measuring a dress shirt, but some of them are actually sleeve lengths. It is not consistent at all. In this case it looks like 26.4" is the sleeve length measured form the shoulder as opposed to from the back of the neck.

Just makes you wonder what kind of dude is the target for Napoli... leg days not popular in the Netherlands?
the kind of dude who also prefers his button stance between his nipples, apparently.

After hearing so much rave reviews about suitsupply, I've decided to pull the plug and order my suit from there. Since i'm a slim cut guy (5'9, 30" waist) I choose to go with 36S Lazio Light Grey Suit from the Purple Line.

Out of the box, this suit fit me like a GLOVE. The only thing I need to get tailored is the pants. I'm getting it shorten, add cuff and braces buttons. I will post up some pics once I get it back from my tailor. In the end, I'm truly impressed with suitsupply quality as well as the fit.
Any chance we can get a few fit and fabric pics?
