1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Another question actually: it seems very few people here seem to be taking the small sizes, but this is what was recommended to me on site and in the shop (a 40S to be precise). Does this tend to be too short (perhaps not in SuitSupply terms, but in the real world). I'd be about 6 foot tall, with 45.5 inch chest, 41 inch upper waist and 44.5 inch lower waist.

Don't go with a short if you're over 6 foot. A regular will already be on the short side.

Yeah the alterations are included on MTM orders so I am taking it back today to have all the changes made. I think if there was an option to get 3" or 3.25" lapels it would be perfect because the full 3.5" seems a bit much for my body.

So lets make a list of the things I need to have addressed so I dont forget later:

    - let out the waist
    - fix sleeve pitch
    - hem slightly shorter

    Anything I am missing?

I don't think they have an online resource, but you could try emailing customer service. That navy saloro that Timotune commissioned does sound interesting.

Are you talking about for their MTM stuff? You gotta visit a store to see all that.

Yeah, I guess. Always worth checking, though, if some SF uber-geek has taken pictures of hundreds of swatches somewhere. Thanks anyway. :)

Chest and lower back area, the vents don't lay nicely as well. Have them put cuffs on your trousers while you're at it. When it comes to lapels, look up the bntailor Instagram account. Those guys rock pretty wide lapels an it looks great on them.

Anyone have real life pictures of the Havana light brown linen jacket? Seems perfect for summer.

Yeah, my one gripe with the SS pictures is that they don't have shots of people wearing the garments in direct sunlight, as a normal shot, not something doctored with studio lighting.

After studying the size tables ad nauseum, I'll probably go with 40R. My chest is 42"and my sleeves maybe just a little longer. As a side note, I did order a blue Havana in a 42R. Size advisor said 42L. Unfortunately, they sent me a Navy Soho instead (tag was wrong). I'm not a double breast guy, but the fit is pretty good. It's a hair tight across the back and the arms are a little skinny, but the sleeve length, waist taper, and jacket length are just about spot on. Based on the size table, the Havana should fit similarly - when it finally gets here.

The SS tumblr account has some real life photos...though they could be doctored too.
