When no sizes at all are visible in the "show sizes" menu - not greyed out, but no size table whatsoever - does this usually mean that the suit is sold out but will be restocked, or that it is about to disappear completely at the next major update?

Thus is what it looks like when clicking and holding the cursor at the down-arrow to the right of the size menu above.

LATER EDIT: It seems they now have all sizes available in the drop-down menu. I still don't know if it was a restock or a temporary software issue.

So, which jacket do you guys think would be most suitable as a odd jacket / SC -- out of the navy selection? I want to get something in virgin wool as from my own experience it is very light and breathable. Great for CA weather.

I think it is a bit late for linen, and I want to stick with wool first before delving into other fabrics and blends.

How high rise are SS's chinos and odd trousers. Their sizing guides don't give a rise height.

    I'd say low to medium.

Ok I checked out SuitSupply in DC. The store vibe is like an Express, I expected more Brooks Brothers. Unfortunately, this store did not have the SOHO_Pink_Plain in stock, so I could not check the color. The staff was unloading inventory for the Fall today. I think the SOHO Pink Plain will come in a week or so.

I actually tried this one on. It is really really nice. Quality looked good, but it was a blend of 3 or 4 different types of cloth. My tailor raved about how well it fit me.

I'd say they have the relatively higher rise you'd expect from suit pants vs. chinos. Perfectly acceptable.

    Awesome, cheers for the info.

    I'm specifically at these -

My presumption would be, given that they are charcoal/grey odd trousers, the rise should be closer to suit pants (higher), rather than chinos (lower). But with no measurements it's hard to ascertain. I'll probably order them and give them a crack anyway, and report back. But if anyone has a pair and wouldn't mind measuring the rise, I'd be very grateful!

    Any opinion on this:

    http://eu.suitsupply.com/suits/suit...&prefv1=Contemporary-Havana|Contemporary-Soho

I know that many SFites regard stripes as inherently "business", but are these vague dark grey (blue?) stripes on a lighter grey background subtle enough to make it suitable for more casual wear? Cut and texture seems very casual. (The apparent texture of the fabric may be exaggerated by the photo and lighting.)

^ I have no idea where I'd wear that suit. Both too casual & not casual enough, if you get my drift. Obv, answer depends on lifestyle, so it might work for others. But not one for me.
