Tried new Charles jeans with a straight leg and high rise. Liked them so much, I ended up buying all colors.
I am surprised they have real sizing here - I.e. 30 inch waist is exactly 30 inches
They say fabric is pre washed. Also leg opening is a bit too big, but that's the styleYou may want to wash a pair and see how much it shrinks. There was a user that experienced a lot of shrinkage. You can read the posts some pages ago. Don't you find the leg opening a bit too small?

thanks for letting me know! I found that message and double checked the fit on me - 1-2 cm shrinkage through the waist should make them ideal for me.I know, but that user still reported significant shrinkage. I personally find the leg opening a 1-2 cm too small compared to knee and thigh.
True, I agree. The last couple of seasons I noticed a trend to feature more relaxed styles for sure. And adding some things you would never see before on the front page, such as A-shirts.The collections are pretty boring these days.
Have they decelerated new store openings? The US had a pretty decent pace about 10 years ago. Most large Metro areas in the US are covered at this point, and then people probably buy more stuff online anyway. I know I do. I hate doing returns, but sometimes that's the price you pay if you are gambling with measurements. The custom fit program I've been using the last couple of years can be hit or miss, even if you specify up to a half-centimeter like I did with my waist measurements recently. It didn't come back to me the way I felt it would fit, but close enough that I'm not returning.
So, is this a mature brand now? When does everyone think the honeymoon phase was over?
For me I'd say right before COVID
